Wigs to Unearth a Long-Burried Feminine Mystique
Me and my family didn’t think the radiant Chandra Sharp, my high school BFF, could ever cover her head with wigs. Her iconic hair styles was synonymous with her attitude. Have you seen her lately? There’s no question she will be eternally celebrated because of her impeccable looks. Very few know she confidently masks her medical hair loss under wigs. Guess it’s no secret anymore.
Back in the day as blossoming ladies in our home town of Scottsdale, we used to knocked ‘em dead. In our twenties her women’s hair loss reared its head and she went bald. I recommended a few lace front wigs. Whatever, balding was no big deal to her. Undeterred by her hair loss, she somewhat obnoxiously never let you forget about her bald-headed look.
Attending her boyfriend Jacob’s homecoming, we flirted with the crowd till a numbskull purposefully launched the orb (or however you say it) into the bleachers. She jumped up for it and her hand-knitted “head sweater” (her idea) jumped from her head, uncovering her naked head. No big deal, she lobbed it playfully back to the field. She’s that kind of girl.
That said, nobody is perfect. The same summer at our semi-monhtly game of bridge, the day she very sincerely said that she prefers to go bald out of anger. She dare not consider human hair wigs, though she wanted one. Then just like that the punk stopped talking and requested that I can’t mention it again. I thought “oh, well.”
I couldn’t drop it. That night, I asked her about going shopping with me for a new lace front wig. Eventually we both ended up with the only logical action: we’ll think of wigs as fashion, and we love fashion. One for me and one for her.
Not sure who was more stunned by the fashionable styles. We couldn’t believe that synthetic wigs were vital to fashion for people, even superstars. These synthetic wigs made her so lovely. As for me, built an entirely fresh ensemble to go with my synthetic wig. Its become an inside joke, if you haven’t heard. Not long ago she sent me her thanks for reintroducing, and said it fosters a fresh spirit for many occasions. It’s encouraging to realize her reclaim her beauty. Friends can do anything!
